Lions Club Picks Peace Poster Contest Winners

Shen Shellenberger

The Haddonfield Area Lions Club has named two winners of the annual Lions Club International Peace Poster Contest for students ages 11 through 13.

The winners are Gracie Sokoloff, 13, who attends Christ the King Regional School in Haddonfield, and the group of Alex and Reese Corbett and Ella Miller, all age 12, who attend Haddonfield Middle School and created a poster together.

This year's poster theme was "Peace through Service." Students will receive a monetary prize from the Lions Club and the winning posters will be on display at the Haddonfield Public Library.

"Both posters are dynamic and meaningful," said Lion Heather Lacy, who headed the Contest Committee for the Haddonfield Area Club.
