Updated: Jan 20, 2021

The Haddonfield Area Lions Club congratulates Dr. Lawrence Ragone on 65 years as a member of the Lions Club. Dr. Ragone, who ran the South Jersey Eye Clinic in Camden for many years and devoted his practice and his free time to helping others, is as active in the Club today as he was six decades ago.

"Dr. Larry is one of the kindest and most helpful people you will ever meet," said Haddonfield Area Lions President Joyce Albrecht. "Thanks to his dedication and service to others, we have accomplished so much in terms of helping those with blindness and vision issues. He has also inspired many other people to get involved in Lionism and volunteering,” she said.

“And on top of all that, Dr. Larry has a great sense of humor and optimism."
