Meeting Information for Visitors
WELCOME - We are glad you will be attending our club meeting. Sometimes we get questions from our guests or visiting Lions about how our meetings are run. We hope you find this information helpful.
LOCATIONS & PARKING - Please follow this link for detailed driving instructions Directions to Meetings. There is a large parking lot adjacent to the Country Club. Valet parking is also available. Enter through the main doors and proceed to the upper level via the stairs immediately inside the entry. There are three meeting rooms on this level and we are usually in the room to the left - but this does vary. Our Lion Tamer will greet you and show you to a seat.
ATTIRE - Members are expected to wear business attire to meetings. (Jackets for gentlemen, pant suits or dresses for ladies.) During warmer months (June - September) a more relaxed dress code is followed and short sleeved collared shirts are appropriate for gentlemen.
MENU - The meal selection is the same for all attendees and has been predetermined. You cannot order off a menu. If you have any dietary concerns, please be sure to contact Meal chairman, Joan Harm, at least two days in advance of the meeting so that we can accommodate your needs if possible. (Use contact link below.) There is a bar set up in our meeting room if you would care to purchase a cocktail.
PRICES - Guest speakers' and invited guests' meals are complementary. Meals cost $18.00 per person, and include soup, rolls, entree with vegetables, dessert, coffee, or iced or hot tea. Visiting Lions should see the club treasurer, Alan Stedman, to pay for their meals. Club members prepay their meals quaterly, so there is not usually someone collecting for meals.
50-50 and CARD GAME TICKETS - Guests and visitors are welcome to participate in the 50-50 drawing, which benefits the club's treasury. Only Haddonfield Lions club members can participate in the Card Game drawing.
